In the 31st gathering of Iran’s Mechanical Engineers two dissertations from the mechanical engineering department of AUT were chosen as top dissertations. Mr. Seyyed Mohammad Mirmohammadi’s dissertation, titled “Designing, Building, and Modulation of Micro Positioner of Microscopes’ Lens in Laboratory Imaging Automation Systems”, was on of the selected dissertations. Seyyed Mohammad Mirmohammadi’s is a bachelor’s level student with his research focused on solid mechanics and design, and guided by Dr Hamed Ghaffariraad. The other top thesis was Mr. Amir Arefian’s dissertation, PhD, titled “Analytical and Experimental Modelling of Dynamic Behavior of Solar Chimney Heat Accumulator System”, with a focus on heat and fluids, and guided by Dr Reza Hosseini Abardeh.
